New Delhi, Aug 13: Happy Left-handers day! On the day dedicated to all the lefties, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to social media wishing people with a special post. "I may be left-handed ... but I'm always right. Happy #LeftHandersDay!" tweeted the legendary cricketer. Former cricketer Vinod Kambli also wished his fellow left-handers, writing," Glad to be among the 12% of lefties in the world. Happy International Lefthanders day to all the lefties. #HappyLefthandersDay"

Observed annually on August 13, to celebrate the uniqueness and differences of the left-handers, the day was first started in the year 1976 by Dean R. Campbell, founder of the Lefthanders International, Inc.

It was created to bring to light certain people's sinistrality along with raising awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed in a predominantly right-handed world. So, lefties go celebrate your uniqueness. It's your day!
