The Indian bowlers performed splendidly during their tour to South Africa, too, earlier this year. Though India lost the Test series 2-1 against the hosts, the bowlers performed exceptionally well. The bowlers were able to dismiss the Proteas’ line-up entirely, in all the three Test matches.

The manner in which the Indian bowlers have bowled recently is quite heartening to see for any Indian fan. Captain Virat Kohli didn’t hold back while praising their bowlers during the presentation ceremony after India’s win in the third Test match.
Kohli had said, “The bowling group was eager to take those 20 wickets again… The most pleasing thing for me to see was that the four fastest bowlers in the series have all been Indians. We've worked on our fitness, on our mindset, cutting down on loose deliveries. They're getting better and better the more Test cricket they've played. It's a delight to watch when they're running in.”
