A team from Faridabad city of Haryana is set to participate in a cricket tournament in Malaysia. Players of Ravindra Fagna Cricket Academy, Faridabad and WCL will participate in 50th Kuantan CA International Sixes tournament in the South Asian country. The league is the 50th edition of the tournament. The team from India departed for Malaysia on Wednesday. Kuantan CA International Sixes is a six-a-side cricket tournament. The tournament will be conducted on July 26, 27 and 28, 2019. The tournament will see the participation of 23 teams who will play a total of 58 matches during the cricket tournament. Ravindra Fagna Cricket Academy informed about the participation of their players in the cricket tournament on their Facebook page. The team from India consists of Puneet Kukreja, Sumit Abbi, Wasim Raja, Anurag Singh, Dharmendra Fagna, Sachin Rakshwal, Mushir Riyaz and Adil Querishi. The coaches of team Hitesh Sharma, Rakesh Bathra and Vishal Rajdhan also departed for the tournament in Malaysia.

Before their journey, all the players and coaches were greeted by Faridabad mayor Suman Bala. Senior Deputy Mayor Devendra Chowdhary, BJP leader Aman Goyal also met and greeted the players before their journey. In the Facebook post shared by the cricket academy, they also mentioned that their players are getting world-class cricket facilities due to which they are playing cricket on the international stage.
