That's it! Stunning comeback from the Indian Women. The tricky conditions in UAE made SA-W opt for a slow start and once the Indian spinners got into the attack, they lost their way. Asha Sobhana led charge as she scalped one wicket while Shreyanka Patil, Deepti Sharma, Harmnapreet Kaur, Shafali Verma picked one each. India have now won their both warm-up games and will enter the competition with confidence.

India Women started their preparation of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on a positive note as they defeated West Indies Women in the opening warm-up fixture at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai. Jemimah Rodrigues was the one who shined with the bat after the stars failed in conditions not too suitable for batting. She received support from Yastika Bhatia. Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh none could contribute with the bat. India reached a total of 141/9 with their effort. Defending it, India were on their toes as Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Singh struck West Indies early.
