IND Win By 10 Wickets | India vs Zimbabwe Highlights of 4th T20I 2024: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill Guide India to Unassailable 3-1 Series Lead

What a performance it has been from India! The bowlers bounced back incredibly well after Zimbabwe's good start and restricted Zimbabwe to just 152 on what was a great batting track. And India came out all guns blazing, with Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal putting up an undefeated opening partnership to see the Men in Blue through. Zimbabwe were also below par with the ball, not able to hit the right areas and India in the end, pulled off what was an easy run chase. India now have an unassailable 3-1 series lead and will look to sign off from the tour with a win tomorrow. Zimbabwe on the other hand, would hope to play for pride in the fifth and final T20I tomorrow.

FIFTY for Shubman Gill! After a poor start to the series, the Indian captain now has struck his second consecutive half-century. India now inches close to a series win. 

Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal are making it look incredibly easy on this good batting track with Zimbabwe applying little to no pressure on the batters. The bowlers have not been consistent with their good lengths and both Gill and Jaiswal have not failed to capitalise on any loose delivery. 

India are doing it easy here with Shubman Gill now finding the boundaries regularly. Zimbabwe are reeling under pressure and desperately need a wicket to have any semblance of hope in this match. At the halfway mark, India firmly on top. Only 47 runs needed now for India to win the series. 

FIFTY for Yashasvi Jaiswal! The left-hander has been superb right from the outset and smashed a cracking fifty here. India are in a great position, largely due to this knock and Zimbabwe stand a risk of losing this quite early.

India have scored 61 runs in six overs with Yashasvi Jaiswal doing the bulk of the scoring. The left-hander has struck boundaries regularly and raced to 47 runs off only 26 balls. Zimbabwe need a wicket here to bounce back or else this game could finish well within 16-17 overs. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill have mustered 43 runs in three overs and India are off to a great start here. Zimbabwe have looked clueless so far and if things continue this way, this game can finish in quick time.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has provided a fiery start to India in this run chase, hitting Richard Ngarava for 15 runs. India are off the blocks in fine fashion and Zimbabwe will want to take early wickets. 

OUT! Khaleel Ahmed dismisses Clive Madande off the last ball and India have restricted Zimbabwe to 152/7. After a fine start by the Zimbabwe openers, India struck back with quick wickets. Sikandar Raza accelerated in the middle overs, scoring 46 runs off 28 balls, but apart from him, no other batter could make much of an impact. OUT! Just when one thought that Zimnbabwe were getting momentum, India have struck and it is Tushar Deshpande, who has his maiden wicket in international cricket as he dismisses Sikandar Raza. Dion Myers and Sikandar Raza are eyeing a big finish for Zimbabwe in this match. After a quick loss of wickets in the middle, Raza has kept Zimbabwe in the hunt for a big score, and the hosts would want him to be out there till the end.b

OUT! Zimbabwe lose another wicket and it is Ravi Bishnoi, who has produced a sensational effort to run out Johnathan Campbell! A mix-up between Sikandar Raza and Campbell and the latter failed to make it back to the non-striker's end in time with Bishnoi's throw hitting the stumps. Johnathan Campbell run out (Ravi Bishnoi) 3(3)

OUT! Washington Sundar has ended Brian Bennett's stay at the crease. The young right-hander wanted to hit a powerful shot on the off-side but ended up striking the ball straight to Yashasvi Jaiswal. OUT! One wicket brings two and India have gotten rid of Wessly Madhevere, who was looking good. Madhevere went for a heave on the leg-side and once again, it is Rinku Singh who does no mistake in taking a simple catch. Two wickets in two overs for India. India have a breakthrough finally and it has come through Abhishek Sharma, who strikes. Tadiwanashe Marumani attempted to hit a big shot off the short ball from Sharma but hit it straight to Rinku Singh in the deep. The hosts have had a fine start and both Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessly Madhevere have complemented each other very well. They are running very well between the wickets and India are desperate for a breakthrough now. With this sort of a start, Zimbabwe will eye a score of around 190-200, with which they can pose a challenge to the Indians. 

Zimbabwe off to a solid start in this do-or-die contest for them. The opening partnership between Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessly Madhevere have looked solid so far and apart from hitting some shots, they have also run hard and exploited the field restrictions. Tushar Deshpande and Khaleel Ahmed leaked runs in the first four overs but Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar have sort of pulled things back for India a bit. 

Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessly Madhevere are off to a steady start for Zimbabwe. Tushar Deshpande and Khaleel Ahmed have two overs each but have not been able to provide India with the breakthrough so far. Zimbabwe, with 35 runs on the board, will look to put on a decent show in the powerplay and set the platform for a big score. 

Tadiwanashe Marumani has started off proceedings with Wessly Madhevere in this match. Khaleel Ahmed bowled the first over and hit the right lengths, yielding four runs.
