India vs West Indies second ODI, scheduled to play at Indore on October 24, may be moved to Baroda due to the issue of complimentary ticket allocation. The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has made its decision not to host the one-day international match due to a conflict with the Committee of Administrators (CoA) appointed by The Supreme Court. The MPCA had earlier sent three emails to CoA expressing their inability to compensate for the number of complimentary tickets issued for the game. The Baroda Cricket Association is reportedly ready to host the game at the last moment. West Indies Tour of India 2018 Schedule: Windies to Play 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20I, Check Complete Time-Table.

MPCA Secretary Milind Kanmadikar informed the BCCI and CoA on Saturday of their decision. He said that since their stadium is small with pavilion capacity of 7000, they cannot allow the 1250 complimentary passes requested by the BCCI. As per the constitution of BCCI, only 10 percent of total complimentary seats can be allotted. Which means only 700 tickets can be given to the BCCI. He also said that they would not be able to look after their important stakeholders and other members if they agree to the board’s decision.

The Baroda Cricket Association is ready to host the match at the last moment as the touring West Indies team is apparently happy with the facilities provided by the association during the recently concluded two-day warm-up game against Board President’s XI.
