Stumps On Day 2. India are still well ahead in the game but West Indies will consider this as a good day for them as they have restricted India under 450 and could negotiate the new ball without any heavy loss. Kraigg Braithwaite and Kirk McKenzie are at the crease and they will look to take the game as deep as possible.

The West Indies openers are growing in confidence and despite a slow start, they have managed the negotiate the Indian spinners well. They will be cautious as they now one wicket can bring a bunch and will allow the Indian bowlers to take the initiative.

West Indies openers Kraigg Braithwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul are at the crease and they are looking to get a cautious but steady start. Wickets tumbling is the last thing they would want and thus a slow but steady approach is what they are currently opting for.

Out! India loses two wickets in quick succession and finally West Indies see light at the end of tunnel. Lomel Warrican is the one who dismissed Jaydev Unadkat and Mohammed Siraj and keeps West Indies alive in the game. 

After Ishan Kishan lost his wicket with a lazy shot, the scoreboard hasn't moved much. Ravichandran Ashwin survived two close calls, West Indies ends up losing one review too. 

The batters on crease look comfortable now, hitting occasional boundaries and scoring at a brisk pace after lunch. They would eye to take the score beyond the reach of the Caribbeans and with Ravichandran Ashwin on the crease, there is a good opportunity. 

Another phase where India suddenly lost a few quick wickets and will need a little phase of consolidation. Ishan Kishan and Ravichandran Ashwin are at the crease and both are capable to do the task for India. There will be certain disappointment in the way Virat Kohli was dismissed but India will consider themselves at a solid position at the break.

Alzarri Joseph pounces in from square leg and nails the direct hit and finds Kohli indeed short of his ground. He will be disappointed considering the form he looked and the opportunity he had in front of him.  This is only the third time he is dismissed run-out in his Test career. 

That's It, Century for Virat Kohli! He hits Shannon Gabriel for a boundary on the offside and reaches a much-awaited milestone. A smile of relief as the star Indian batter celebrates but he knows he has a job in hand to make his team win. 29th Test hundred for Kohli, first player to score a hundred in his 500th International match. 

Virat Kohli brings out a signature flick shot to strike a boundary and get to 94. He followed it up with a single to move to 95 and now spin is introduced from the West Indies through the introduction of Jomel Warrican.

Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja start Day 2 with caution, looking to grind through the first few overs and then look on towards the scoring opportunities.
