West Indies Win By Two Wickets | India vs West Indies Highlights of 2nd T20I 2023: Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph Help Hosts Take 2-0 Series Lead

That's It. Heroics from the West Indies tailenders. Alzarri Joseph and Akeal Hosein. Under pressure they kept their calm and targetted the Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar overs to collect the winning run. The hosts now go up 2-0 in the series. The next match will be make or break for India. Anyhow despite showing sparks, India didn't play inspiring cricket in the series till now. 

Out! Definitely there is a twist now. Jason Holder has no clue about the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal and gets beaten only to find himself just out of the crease as Ishan Kishan takes the bails off.  The game is now well poised for an Indian comeback. 

Out! Is there a twist here? Shimron Hetmyer runs his partner Romario Shepherd out. Shepherd trusted his partner's call blindly and ended up stranded halfway down the pitch when Ishan Kishan clipped the bails off. 

Out! Finally India gets the prized wicket of Nicholas Pooran. Wide of off-stump delivery and Pooran goes hard on it, crunches it straight to the hands of Sanju Samson at point. But it seems the wicket has come too late.

Out! Rovman Powell ends up playing a shot too many. Tries to cut hard on a rising delivery by Hardik Pandya, but it takes the outside edge and flies to the hands of the third man fielder. Hardik takes his third wicket. 

Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell takes out West Indies from another position of trouble and launches a counter-attack to push India into backfoot. Pooran leads the charged as he completes his half-century in just 29 deliveries. 

Out! Kyle Mayers, who looked dangerous initially, falls to Arshdeep Singh. Does not pick the knuckle ball this time and gets trapped in front of the wicket. India have struck with early wickets and clawed back into the game. 

Out! Double strike for India. Johnson Charles almost replicates the same dismissal as Brandon King, tries to go for an on the rise drive and finds the fielder. West Indies finds themselves in trouble, once again. 

Out!  West Indies lose their opener early, very early. Brandon King looks for an on the rise drive and the ball holds a little for the drive to loft a bit and straight into the hands of the man in covers. 

Some quick wickets in the end including the likes of captain Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel and then some desperate striking from Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh takes India to just to a par total at the end of a struggling innings. West Indies will be the happier side going into the break. 

Out! Tilak Varma falls just after his half-century. Tries to take on the left arm spinner and Akeal Hosein drops it short and Tilak doesn't get the timing despite swinging the bat hard. Deep square leg doesn't do a mistake. 

Fifty! What a debut series it has been for Tilak Varma. In a tough situation, he has come out with flying colours and now completed his first Half-century in International cricket.  He has proved that he belongs at this level.  Completes his fifty in just 39 deliveries. 

Out! Sanju Samson throws the kitchen sink and perishes. He will be disappointed with the shot he attempted. Tries to charge down on Akeal Hosein but the bowlers spots it early and drops the ball short and Samson finds himself stranded halfway down the crease. 

Out! Just when Ishan Kishan was looking to accelerate after a short period of reconsolidation, he loses his wicket to a delivery by Romario Shepherd. Foxed by the change of pace, Ishan goes through the shot early. India would not have wanted to be in the position they are in currently. 

Out! Last game Sanju Samson and now Suryakumar Yadav. Kyle Mayers gives West Indies another breakthrough as he finds Suryakumar Yadav short of his crease. India looked nervous since the start and it is showing in their running between the wickets. 

Out! Shubman Gill tries to go the aerial route and miscues it completely as it lands straight into the hands of the backward point fielder. Consecutive failures for Shubman Gill now in the T20I series. 

India look to get a cautious start as well as take the aggressive route early to utilize the powerplay before the ball gets older. They will look to not lose wickets in a heap and trigger a collapse.
