India and West Indies will lock horns in the second T20 game in Florida in as many days with the Caribbean nation hoping to stay afloat in the series. With both sides boasting of such explosive batsmen, the opening game failed to live up to its expectation. The batsmen were finding it difficult to stay out there in the middle against some quality bowling. India, in the end, did enough to win the contest and go 1-0 up in the series. West Indies have to improve a lot if they are to level the series and against a young Indian team, it is quite possible. West Indies vs India Cricket Score 2nd I T20 Match.
Pacer Navdeep Saini was the star of the game for India and had a debut, he will never forget. Bagging three wickets at a miser economy rate, the Delhi bowler showed great composure with the bowl including a last over the maiden. The Men in Blue will be concerned though with their batting as the top order got out cheaply playing lose strokes. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are seasoned campaigners and the duo will need to stick around to guide a young line-up. Rishabh Pant got out for a first-ball duck in the previous match and all eyes will be on his response to the failure.
West Indies were poor with the bat as none barring Kieron Pollard showed any intent to play long innings. The veteran all-rounder scored an important 49 for his team but received little support from the rest of the unit. Openers Evin Lewis and John Campbell need to make sure that they get their team to a proper start. The explosive batsmen coming down the order will thus be able to play their natural game. The bowling led by Sunil Narine and Keemo Paul looked good and pose trouble for India.
It should be a cracking game with West Indies challenging India with all its might but with the balanced team India has, the men in blue should wrap up the series.
