India Women's Cricket Team vs Sri Lanka Women's Cricket Team Live Score Updates:  India Women are all set to continue their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 journey against Sri Lanka in an important Group B clash. India started the ICC Women's T20 World Cup journey poorly after getting defeated by New Zealand in the opening encounter. The loss also put a dent in their net run rate and the chances of India qualifying from the group became slim as they were yet to play Australia, who are the strong favourites to win the competition. The best India can do now is win all their remaining games and wait for others to slip up. They defeated Pakistan Women in their second game and will look to defeat Sri Lanka Women when they take on Chamari Athapaththu and co in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Jemimah Rodrigues Gives Inspirational Speech to India Women's Team Cricketers Ahead of IND-W vs SL-W ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Clash (Watch Video).

Sri Lanka on the other hand, entered the tournament on the back of winning the Asia Cup beating India in the final. They had momentum behind them and looked to surprise everyone in conditions familiar to their home. Although things have not been exactly to their likings as they have lost both their opening games. Sri Lanka Women first lost against Pakistan and then against Australia. Captain Chamari Athapaththu, who has been the mainstay of the team for long, is yet to fire and that has put additional pressure on the likes of Harshitha Samarawickrama and Vishmi Gunaratne. To defeat India, Sri Lanka will need an all-round performance from their cricketers.

India Women have found a slight opening as New Zealand has suffered a heavy defeat in the hands of Australia and their net run rate has took a dent.
