That's it! Sri Lanka have done it and won this match by 32 runs! What a win this has been for the Sri Lankan team on the back of an inspired bowling effort once again. It is a massive confidence booster for the island nation as they attain a 1-0 lead in this series. India started well like the last match but the openers' departure was followed by a middle-order collapse. Washington Sundar and Axar Patel tried to bring India back into the game with a 38-run stand but once again, India lost both wickets in no time and in the end, it was too much left to do for the tail. India would need to look into their batting and come up with a much-improved performance in the third ODI if they are to level the series.

Axar Patel and Washington Sundar have somewhat managed to steady India's innings here after Jeffrey Vandersay starred with a six-wicket haul. India would need both these players to carry on and bring the deficit as much as possible, with the bowlers coming up next. Sri Lanka meanwhile, would be looking to break this partnership.

FIFTY for Rohit Sharma off just 29 balls! The Indian captain, much like he did in the first ODI, has batted with a lot of intent and aggression, taking the attack to Sri Lanka. He and Shubman Gill have given India a very good start here, scoring 76 runs in 10 overs. Both batters have looked to be positive and capitalised on the loose deliveries while also rotating the strike. Sri Lanka on the other hand, need some early wickets to apply pleasure on India. At the moment, the visitors seem in complete control of the run chase. 

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have expectedly started this run chase for India with the two scoring three runs off the first over bowled by Asitha Fernando. 

Two run outs to end the innings, first by Shreyas Iyer who pulls off a magnificent direct hit to dismiss Kamindu Mendis. Virat Kohli then follows it up with a simple run out off the last ball as he catches Akila Dananjaya short. Sri Lanka have managed to score 240 runs in 50 overs, 10 more than what they got in the first ODI. Avishka Fernando and Kamindu Mendis scored 40s while Dunith Welllage hit 39 and Sri Lanka would feel that they can win this if they take early wickets. For India, Washington Sundar finished with three wickets while Kuldeep Yadav got two. Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel got one wicket each.

The left-hander was looking to score the boundaries in a bid to take the score to a competitive one but this time, found the fielder with Shivam Dube taking a very good catch after dropping a similar catch earlier on. Dunith Wellalage, for the second time in this ODI series, has led Sri Lanka's charge in this match and he along with Kamindu Mendis have put 52 runs now. Six overs remain and Sri Lanka will eye a score in the region of 250 which could put India under pressure. 

Rohit Sharma has introduced himself into the attack with the fans cheering him on. The Indian captain is bowling in ODIs for the first time since the ODI World Cup last year and he has ended up conceding six runs. India have done well to keep Sri Lanka under control so far. 

OUT! Washington Sundar has accounted for Charith Asalanka! The Sri Lankan captain wanted to guide the ball to third man but got an edge with Axar Patel taking a simple catch. In the last over, Kuldeep Yadav had sent Janith Liyanage back to the pavilion with a simple caught and bold effort.
