A mighty impressive India deservedly win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title! Heinrich Klaasen had almost snatched it in South Africa's favour but the bowlers, especially Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya pulled India back and helped the side win the title in the end. India also became the only team to go unbeaten in the history of the tournament, and Rohit Sharma and his men can be mighty and proud of this effort in the final. This is also India's second ICC T20 World Cup title and one that the nation will cherish for a long time to come. Feel for South Africa though but they will take a lot of confidence from this performance going ahead.

OUT! What a catch by Suryakumar Yadav as Hardik Pandya dismisses David Miller. Under pressure, he did well to take the catch and South Africa are under pressure! A low wide full toss and Miller hit it straight down the ground hoping it will clear the fence. This match has gone down to the wire and South Africa need   runs in the last over. Not long ago were South Africa ahead but India have very well to make a comeback and keep this contest alive. What an exciting game this has been! Hardik Pandya potentially will have the last over to bowl. .

South Africa are on the charge her and India need one wicket here to make a comeback. Heinrich Klaasen is taking apart the Indian spinners as Axar Patel concedes 24 runs off the over! Just when it seemed that South Africa were going away with the contest, Arshdeep Singh comes and picks up a wicket and this time, he has dismissed Quinton de Kock!The left-hander hit a boundary the ball before and has been caught in the same region while trying to play the same shot in the same region. Heinrich Klaasen is on the charge here and he is keeping South Africa's chances alive big time in this contest here. Kuldeep Yadav concedes eight runs off the 13th over and South Africa are 101/3. We have an interesting seven overs coming up! 

Heinrich Klaasen and joined Quinton de Kock in the middle after Tristan Stubbs' dismissal. Hardik Pandya, after three dots, gets carted over covers for a six by Klaasen. Pandya also bowled a no-ball and conceded just one run off the free-hit. South Africa are  81/3 at the halfway mark and 10 more overs separate one of these two teams and the trophy they are playing for. 

OUT! Axar Patel has provided India with the breakthrough and he has dismissed Tristan Stubbs! The right-hander was looking so good but has missed the ball this time around as he walked too far across his stumps. The partnership between Quinton de Kock and Tristan Stubbs has been a steady one for South Africa and it has taken off the pressure which was created after the loss of two early wickets. Kuldeep Yadav has not been at his best so far and India need to take wickets to make a comeback in this match. 

South Africa are 52/2 at the end of six overs with Quinton de Kock and Tristan Stubbs in the middle. India will need to break this partnership to create pressure on this South African batting unit. 

Quinton de Kock has been joined by Tristan Stubbs in the middle and the two have looked composed while hitting the boundaries as well as rotating strike. South Africa are 32 after five overs and India will love one wicket or more in the next 2-3 overs. 

OUT! Arshdeep Singh has struck and he has dismissed Aiden Markram! The South African captain's form with the bat has not been that great and he has been dismissed early, off a shot he played earlier for a four. OUT! What a ball and it is Jasprit Bumrah again who has provided India with a good start! India need an early wicket and Bumrah has provided one with an outswinger as Reeza Hendricks looks stunned! A top-class ball which squared up the right-hander. Reeza Hendricks b Jasprit Bumrah 4(5) 

Reeza Hendricks and Quinton de Kock are out in the middle and they have begun the run chase by scoring six  runs off the first over bowled by Arshdeep Singh. It is now up to the Indian bowlers to provide the team with a good start in the powerplay. The first over was fine up for India to the last ball which was struck for a four by Hendricks. 

OUT! Anrich Nortje dismisses Ravindra Jadeja off the last ball and India end up with 176/7. It is above par on this ground and will have to bowl extremely well against this South African side which has powerful hitters like Heinrich Klaasen, Quinton de Kock and also David Miller. India did well to make a comeback after losing three wickets.
