India and South Africa are set to face each other in the first T20I match at Dharamsala on Sunday, September 15. Result: South Africa Won

The first T20I match was played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. South African won by 7 wickets after chasing the mammoth 200-run target in the 2nd innings. Rohit Sharma's 106-run knock went in vain as AB de Villiers (51), JP  Duminy (68) and Farhaan Behardien (23) won the match for South Africa by 3 wickets in the penultimate over.

In the 2nd T20I match, India's batting totally failed as they were bowled out for just 92 runs in 17.2 overs. South Africa bagged consecutive victory at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack by 6 wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin was the leading wicket-taker for India with 3 wickets. However, South African bowlers showed brilliant team effort in bowling. Imran Tahir, Chris Morris and Albie Morkel took 2, 2 and 3 wickets each respectively.

Abandoned Due to Wet Outfield!

The wet field at Eden Gardens, Kolkata ruined all the hopes of the third clash. The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled and without the toss. South Africa clinched the T20I series 2-0.

India is currently a very dominant side in cricket. In ICC World Cup 2019, India was the top performer in the group stage but suffered an unfortunate exit to New Zealand in the semi-final.
