The day three of the ongoing Test match between India and South Africa witnessed the domination of the visitors as after losing the wicket of Temba Bavuma, it was Faf du Plessis who put a fighting partnership as they chased a total of 502 runs. At lunch, Du Plessis is a couple of runs short of getting his half-century whereas, opener Dean Elgar is batting on the score of 76 runs. It was Ishant Sharma who snapped the wicket of Temba Bavuma and the South African batsman was sent packing on the score of 18 runs after facing 26 balls. Ishant Sharma trapped the batsman by bowling a fuller length delivery which fell right on to the middle stump and batsman was LBW. Post this none of the Indian bowlers could get wickets as Faf Du Plessis and Dean Elgar were extremely watchful at the start but built on their innings and took the team closer to the total. India had piled up a mammoth total of 502 runs on the board. All thanks to the double century from Mayank Agarwal. Rohit Sharma also chipped in with the score of 176 runs.
