India registered one of its biggest victories against arch rivals Pakistan during match 22 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. India won the match by 89 runs after Pakistan were given a revised target of 302 in 40 overs. Twitter has gone abuzz with jokes on Pakistani skipper Sarfaraz and the Pakistan team. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul opened the innings, and brought up the 100 runs partnership.Rohit Sharma hit 140 off just 113 balls and was complemented well by KL Rahul who scored 57. Virat Kohli then took matters into his hand as he hit 77 runs to help India reach 336/5 in 50 overs.

In reply, Pakistan were going well as Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam brought up the hundred runs partnership. Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav bowled a brilliant spell and picked up two important wickets to set Pakistan back and practically end their chances of chasing down India's total. Kuldeep broke the 100-runs plus partnership between Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam.

Both the batsmen were looking set and threatening to take the game away from India. But Kuldeep's twin strikes opened the floodgates for Pakistan as they lost back to back wickets. India finally won the match by 89 runs and maintained its 7-0 streak over arch rivals Pakistan in the world cups.
