Whether it is Rohit Sharma’s half-century or Manish Pandey’s stunning catch during the match, there were way too many instances that trended on social media. Now it was during the 17th over, when India’s Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik were batting, Fakhar Zaman walked into the bowl with his cap worn backwards. The veteran Indian cricketer slammed Fakhar Zaman and said, “This is not the right way to wear the cap as it is disrespect to the national flag. It’s national cap and needs to be respected. The coach needs to chip in and will have to ask him to wear the cap properly.” The highlight of the Indian innings was Rohit Sharma’s 52 runs off 39 balls in his 100th innings. After winning the toss, Pakistan elected to bat and could only put up the score of 162 runs. Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam were the highest scorers for the team with 43 and 47 runs. Faheem Ashraf scored 22 runs off 44 balls. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav snapped three wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah got a couple of them. Kuldeep Yadav got one wicket. While going online India needed 20 runs off 141 balls to win. From Pakistan, it was only Faheem Ashraf and Shadab Khan who got one wicket each.
