The India vs Pakistan match in the Super Four Round turned out to be yet another one-sided contest with India trouncing Pakistan by 9 wickets. On a day when India seemed to do no wrong, Pakistan was yet again undone by their middle order woes and struggled with developing partnerships. Thanks to some tight bowling in the death overs by Jaspreet Bumrah and good fielding by the Indian team. But Pakistan could not return the favour and instead dropped Rohit Sharma twice who scored his 19th International hundred backed by Shikhar Dhawan's dominating 114. Even as Pakistan's batting woes continue, senior batsman Shoaib Malik finds himself among runs this Asia Cup. After scoring a match winning innings of 53 not out against Afghanistan, rescuing his team by scoring 10 runs in the final over, Shoaib once again played an important knock of 78 runs. Though it did not prove enough for Pakistan in the context of the game, it certainly did impress both Indian and Pakistani fans. A video going viral on social media shows Indian fans calling Shoaib "Jiju,jiju", which means brother-in-law (Shoaib Malik is married to Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza). Being the sport that he is, Shoaib smiled and waved at the fans when he was fielding on the boundary line. Watch the video below:

While Shoaib Malik definitely is in good form, Pakistan has barely managed to make it so far in the Asia Cup 2018. India has been dominant so far against all the teams in the tournament except in the opening game against Hong Kong, when India survived a scare. At the heart of India's dominant performance is the solid opening partnerships given by openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, who brought up the highest opening partnership for India while chasing in ODIs in the match against Pakistan on Sunday. The pair registered 210 runs for the opening partnership.
