As per Accuweather.com, the weather will remain cloudy throughout the day and a cold day awaits the Men in Blue in the first T20I. The average temperatures would be around 15-17 degree centigrade. Ahead of the match, tomorrow, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson said, “Martin [Guptill] is ruled out of the series and we have a different squad altogether with some new faces. We want to balance with a number of all-rounders which will affect the positions. Munro is expected in the top three.”

Shikhar Dhawan also addressed the press and said that the team would want to continue their form in the shorter format as well. “This T20I series will also be a good opportunity for youngsters like Krunal Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Siddarth Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed, Shubman Gill to rise to the occasion and stake a claim for a World Cup spot,” he explained. The T20I game will begin at 12.30 PM tomorrow.
