Stumps on Day 2! India are behind New Zealand in this contest and it is due to another poor first-innings batting performance. With bat in hand, Tom Latham fell short of a well-deserved 100 but his 85 was a captain's knock, one that will give him and his team a lot of confidence as they aim to put up a big score on the board. For India, the shining light has been Washington Sundar, who took four out of the five wickets that New Zealand lost and a lot would rest on him if India are to make a comeback in this game, which seems improbable at the moment.
