The play on Day 1 of the IND vs NZ 1st Test 2024 has been called off as rain doesn't allow any toss to happen. Constant rain forced the umpires to announce stumps without the toss being held. The toss on Day 2 will be held early at 08:45 AM IST (Indian Standard Time) whereas the match will begin from 09:15 AM IST (Indian Standard Time).

The start of play in the IND vs NZ 1st Test 2024 has been delayed due to rain. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a post on their official 'X' handle and have informed about the same.


 

The India national cricket team is all set to clash against New Zealand in the first Test of the three-match series at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from 09:30 AM IST (Indian Standard Time) on October 16.
