New Zealand seemed to be on the backfoot with that spectacular partnership between Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan but the visitors will walk back to the dressing room happy with the wicket of the ex-India captain. India does have a lot of batting to come and with Sarfaraz Khan well set on 70, the hosts would want to reduce the deficit as soon as possible. India would be disappointed with Virat Kohli's dismissal but this batting effort has been a much-improved one, as they look to wipe off the lead on Day 4.
