The India vs New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-final match will resume on the reserve day, July 10, after rains played spoilsport on the scheduled match day (July 09). New Zealand were 211 for five in 46.1 overs when rain stopped play. Thankfully, for semi-finals and final, CWC 2019 has a reserve day. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah provided the early blow, while Ravindra Jadeja played his role to perfection as India restricted New Zealand to 211/5. Ross Taylor top-scored for New Zealand, while skipper Kane Williamson made his fourth half-century that also took him past Martin Guptill and made him the highest-scoring New Zealand batsman in a single edition of the World Cup. But despite their efforts, the Kiwis failed to get going with no batsmen other than Taylor and Williamson crossing the 30-run mark. Manforce Condoms Tweets Difference Between Covers That Should Come Off And Those That Shouldn't as Rain Interrupts IND v NZ, ICC CWC 2019, Semi-Final Match.

Meanwhile, Guptill continued his poor form in CWC 2019 with another cheap outing against India in the crucial semi-final encounter. The tall right-handed batsman was dismissed from a terrific Bumrah delivery in the fourth over of the New Zealand innings. Guptill was tempted into playing a delivery on off-stump after the opening three overs – the first two of which were maidens – had yielded only one run. Kohli flung to his left to take the catch and give India a perfect start.

Williamson stitched back-to-back half-century partnerships with Henry Nicholls (28) and Taylor for the second and third wicket, but too many dot balls between them meant New Zealand failed to recover and were struggling at 134/3 in 36 overs when the skipper was caught off Jadeja. New Zealand will be looking to add as many runs possible on the reserve day and set a competitive target for India.
