India wins the match by 143 runs, their highest margin in a T20I victory. Ireland fell like a pack of cards. The Indian bowlers were into it since the first over where Umesh Yadav took the first wicket. From there, there was no looking back.

­India and Ireland will lock horns in the second Twenty20 International on Friday. The 2nd T20I match between the two sides will be played at The Village, in Dublin. The India-Ireland T20I game will begin at 8.30 pm (IST). After beating Ireland convincingly in the first match, the Virat Kohli-led side would be looking forward to ending the series on a winning note.

Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma ran rampant on the Irish side they scored 160 runs for the first wicket. The first wicket partnership saw India score over 200 runs while batting first. For Ireland, the only good performance came from opener James Shannon as he scored a fighting half-century during the run-chase.
