India Women face their first defeat of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023.  Big blow for them as well as a reality check. Their semi-final hopes is till alive but they have to up their game if they eye to win the title. One the other hand, England Women came out of an adverse situation showing character and qualify for the semi-finals. 

England win by 11 runs! Richa Ghosh's late assault does not yield result as despite her jubilant efforts lack of support from the other end forces India to fall short by 11 runs in a roller coaster chase.

England have finished on a total of 151/7 in their 20 overs. Nat Sciver-Brunt was the highest scorer for them with 50 off 42 deliveries. Renuka Singh Thakur stars with the ball for India and bags a fifer. India will need 152 runs to win this game. 

Out! Renuka Thakur Singh bags her fifer as Katherine Sciver-Brunt tries to pump the ball for a six and holes out at the deep. Renuka has been brilliant throughout today. 

Out!  Renuka Singh Thakur comes back at the end to strike again as she picks up dangerous Amy Jones who misques a ramp shot and gets caught by Richa Ghosh. 

Out! breakthrough! Nat Sciver-Brunt tries to reverse sweep a Deepti Sharma delivery just after completing her half-century and ends up scooping it gently to Smriti Mandhana's hands at short third man. 

Nat Sciver- Brunt leads England's batting in crisis once again as she completes her half century. Her 50 came off in just 41 deliveries. 

Amy Jones hits some big shots to up the ante as well as put the Indian bowlers under some pressure. Nat Sciver-Brunt is well set now and the duo look to rebuild England's innings once again.
