And that would be stumps on Day 2! What a day it has been for India as they dominated proceedings, especially in the second innings of the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal's magical double ton early on Day 2 helped India get 396 on the board and later, a Jasprit Bumrah special saw Rohit Sharma and his men wrap up the England innings for just 253 runs. Jaiswal became the third youngest Indian player to score a Test double ton and his teammates would be mighty pleased with that effort. Next up, it was the Bumrah show, with the premier pacer becoming the fastest Indian to get to 150 Test wickets. Bowling on a flat track in Vizag, Bumrah churned out figures of 6/45 and nothing much can be said about how special a player he has been for India over the years. India safely negotiated the remaining few overs in the day with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal adding 28 runs in five overs. With a lead of 171, India will now hope to bat well and take the game beyond England's control.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma has given India a solid start and would look to stay together at the crease. It has been a day of India's dominance so far.
It has already been a pretty eventful's day of cricket and it is not yet done with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma coming out to bat in order to swell India's lead.

OUT! And a five-wicket haul for Jasprit Bumrah! The premier fast bowler has owned the day with a memorable performance and has gotten his 10th fifer in Tests. Tom Hartley was the man to be dismissed and Shubman Gill has taken a good catch again. Tom Hartley c Shubman Gill b Jasprit Bumrah 21(24)
OUT! Jasprit Bumrah gets to 150 wickets in style and he has castled Ben Stokes, who was looking in fine touch. The ball caught the edge of Stokes' bat and uprooted the off-stump. What a ball! What a player! Ben Stokes b Jasprit Bumrah 47(54)
OUT! Kuldeep Yadav has produced yet another wicket for India in this session and it is Rehan Ahmed who has to depart. The tail-ender tried to pull away a long hop from Kuldeep and Shubman Gill, placed at short mid-wicket times his jump to perfection to pouch the catch from the air. Rehan Ahmed c Shubman Gill b Kuldeep Yadav 6(15)
OUT! And one more wicket falls with Kuldeep Yadav striking this time. The chinaman bowler tosses it up outside off-stump and the ball beats the outside edge and hits the woodwork. India have bounced back in strong fashion and it is a great chance for them to gain a sizeable lead. Ben Foakes b Kuldeep Yadav 6(10)
OUT! Jasprit Bumrah is on fire at the moment! After Joe Root and Ollie Pope, he has taken the wicket of Jonny Bairstow who looked good for his 25 runs. Much like Root, Bairstow edged one to slips and Shubman Gill in the slips does a fine job. Jonny Bairstow c Shubman Gill b Jasprit Bumrah 25(39)
Play has resumed in the third and final session of the day's play with Jasprit Bumrah having the ball in hand. For England, Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow are out there in the middle and it would be interesting to see which of these two teams come out on top by the end of the day's play.
It has been a session of two halves. England started off by scoring some quick runs in the first part of the session after lunch but India fought back with four wickets. Jasprit Bumrah is the wrecker-in-chief as he scalped two wickets, one of which included an in-swinging yorker to castle Ollie Pope. India are ahead courtesy of these four wickets.
OUT! What a ball that is! Jasprit Bumrah has produced a sensational yorker to disturb the woodwork behind Ollie Pope. The right-hander missed the ball and it mowed down the stumps! Ollie Pope b Jasprit Bumrah 23(55)
OUT! Jasprit Bumrah has dismissed Joe Root and England have lost two wickets in quick succession here. Root edged the ball to slips and Shubman Gill completed a simple catch. A big wicket for India this. Joe Root c Shubman Gill b Jasprit Bumrah 5(10)
OUT! India have had the breakthrough and it is the in-form Zak Crawley who has to depart. Axar Patel comes into the attack and Crawley tries to take him on. He miscues with the ball going up in the air and Shreyas Iyer ends up taking a fantastic catch! Zak Crawley c Shreyas Iyer b Axar Patel 76(78)
FIFTY for Zak Crawley! The right-hander has batted with a lot of elegance and has scored a quickfire half-century. He would now look to continue this good work and score a big one.
OUT! Kuldeep Yadav has drawn first blood for India and dismissed Ben Duckett with a beautiful delivery. He drew the left-hander to a defensive shot and the ball lobbed up off the edge straight to Rajat Patidar at silly point. India have the breakthrough. Ben Duckett c Rajat Patidar b Kuldeep Yadav 21(17)
Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett have continued the good work that they did before the lunch session. India are leaking runs left, right and centre and England are clearly on top here.
What a session it has been! While Yashasvi Jaiswal got to his double century, England managed to pick up the remaining Indian wickets and restrict them to below 396. England then came out to bat and blazed to 32 runs off six overs. It was a session which England owned and India would look to bounce back after lunch.
England have had a blazing start to this innings with Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett scoring a flurry of boundaries. This is exactly the start England would have hoped for and India will need to find a way to break this partnership and prevent it from becoming a big one.
As Day 1 got over after England took some late wickets, from India it was Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored a bunch of runs. Jaiswal went on to score his second Test century. Other than Jaiswal no one in the Indian team got close to a half-century. Jaiswal is still batting on 179 runs in 257 balls with Ravichandran Ashwin on the other end. Jaiswal has already smacked 17 fours and five sixes in his innings so far. He will now be looking forward to the next milestone which is possibly a double century and also will be eyeing to add some more runs to India's total. Majority of the England's bowling was done by Shoaib Bashir who has taken two wickets already in his first Test match. Rehan Ahmed has also taken a couple of wickets with a late wicket of KS Bharat. What is left of India's batting lineup will try and score as many runs as possible which can trouble England. Otherwise can gain an advantage in the 2nd Test as well.
