Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli will look to extend India’s lead on day three and put England under further pressure. This is the best opportunity India have got in this series so far. Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul added 60 runs for the opening wicket to lay a decent foundation. Meanwhile, the onus will be on Pujara and Kohli to take India forward.
India will be looking to set a target of over 400 for England and they are in a great position, thanks to the first innings lead. England, on the other hand, will have to do something magical to make a comeback in the Test.
