Ishant Sharma bowled a ripper to send back Haseeb Hameed for just nine runs. India are all over the hosts now. The right-handed batsman looked out of sorts the moment he arrived at the crease, was earlier dropped by Rohit Sharma as well. And now his struggle ends. He opted for DRS but it was umpire's call that stays.

India have finally declared the innings. At one stage, it looked like they will be bowled out but Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah stood tall and added unbeaten 89 for the ninth wicket to take India to safety. England now required 272 runs to win from around 60 overs.

It is lunch on day five. Despite losing two wickets early on, it still is India's session. All thanks to Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. The duo has added unbeaten 77 for the ninth wicket and have taken India's lead past 250-run mark.

That's half-century up for Mohammed Shami. He brings is up with a six off Moeen Ali. This is Shami's second Test fifty and most entertaining knock by him. India's lead is now worth 256 runs.

Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah's partnership has gone past the fifty-run mark. Both Shami and Bumrah have batted superbly. Shami is batting on 34 and Bumrah is on 23.

India's lead has gone past 200-run mark as Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah add 20 runs for the ninth wicket thus far. England's frustration slightly growing now.

Mark Wood did a fine job of picking up three wickets and sending openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul back to the pavilion on the score of 21 and 5 runs respectively. He also sent Cheteshwar Pujara on 45 runs who did try his bit to stabilise the Indian inning. Virat Kohli's bad outing with the bat continued and he got dismissed on 20 runs. All thanks to outside off delivery from Sam Curran where he got edged and taken by Jos Buttler.  This is the second time that Kohli got dismissed by this kind of delivery in this series. At stumps, Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma were batting for the side. By the end of the day, the scorecard read 181/6.

The Indias will be looking to pile as many runs as possible in the game and would be expecting the bowlers to do the job. The five-game series has so far witnessed the first match ending up with a draw.
