For a while now, the Indian cricket team has relied heavily on the captain Virat Kohli. There have been many occasions where the Indian cricket captain has single-handedly led the team to victory and even stolen wins from the jaw of defeat. In the last test match against England, the skipper once again proved his prowess in both the innings by scoring 151 and 49 runs. Which means Kohli scored 200 runs in one test match. Needless to say that the skipper even attained the number position in the ICC Test Rankings and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the opponents are quite aware of the threat he can pose to them.

Ahead of the second test match at Lord’s Jason Roy at a group discussion made a bold statement and said that the team is not scared of Kohli. The other members in the discussion included ICC Chief International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive David Richardson and former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar.

The former Hampshire cricketer and broadcaster Mark Nicholas asked Roy on how intimidating it is to face someone who has a modern-day great like Virat Kohli and if they are afraid to which the English cricketer said, “Not scared of him, no. He's obviously a great player, and rightly so, you've given him such kind words," said the England opener. "He's an extremely good athlete, an imposing batsman, an imposing figure on the field. We've got to find ways of dismantling him somehow, so we can't give him too much praise right here." Watch the video above.
