The day 2 of the India vs England 5th Test series is turning out to be an interesting one. On the day 1, before the lunch, it looked as if the Alastair Cook and Moeen Ali would walk away with the game putting up a hefty total for the opponents. However, once Cook departed, Ali after making a half-century made way to the pavilion. No other England batsmen could survive the fiery Indian pacers.
Sam Curran who had troubled the Indians earlier in the series too departed for a duck. Ditto with England captain Joe Root. By the end of the day, England could only put up 198 runs on the board. Kudos to the Indian bowlers who did their job extremely well. Throughout the series, batting has been an only headache for Virat Kohli. As per accuweather.com, the day 2 is expected to have passing showers. It will be interesting to see how the Indian batters respond to the changing situation.
