The Indian cricket team delivered an all-round performance at Nottingham and thrashed England comprehensively by 203 runs. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya both clinched five wickets. Ahead of the third match, Team India was slammed by many critics for their performance in the first two test matches. This included Michael Holding who spoke about Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah. He labelled Jasprit Bumrah by calling him “not a new ball bowler.”

Jasprit Bumrah would obviously be in the know-how of the comment related to him and refrained from talking back. Instead, he chose to let his performance do the talking and clinched five wickets. But what caught our attention was Bumrah’s celebration after picking up five wickets. Raising his hands, Bumrah put his finger on the lips. From the gesture, it looked like he was asking Michael Holding to shut up.

Virat Kohli was made the Player of the Match for scoring 200 runs. After the match he slammed the critics and said, “We were down 0-2 in the series and a lot of people have stopped believing in us. But we believed in ourselves and that is why it is 1-2 now after 0-2. All that matter was what we thought inside the change room. Anything on the outside did not really matter. We believe we can win the series. The victory was much-needed in the context of this series. We have been clinical in all departments and it is a victory for the entire dressing room. A complete Test win for us."
