The Indian team, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, have begun their England tour with a thumping win over the host team, and as both the teams are scheduled to go head-on on Friday, it will be an intriguing watch as to which team will come out on the top! Will the Indian team attain an unassailable lead in the second Twenty20 International (T20I) match or will England manage to pull things in their favour?

India won the first T20I at Manchester cruising through the run chase with much ease, courtesy an explosive and unbeaten 101* by KL Rahul. India needed 160 runs to win and after an initial hiccup, as Shikhar Dhawan was castled in the first over, the Indian team rode to victory riding on the partnership between Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Earlier, it was Kuldeep Yadav’s majestic wrist-spin that put breaks on England’s acceleration in the first T20I. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets in an over to put halt to England’s march which seemed to cross the 200-run mark at one stage. Yadav ended the match with figures of 4-0-24-5 and also pipped KL Rahul to be the ‘Man of the Match’.

Come Friday, India would be looking to wrap the series at Cardiff itself; whereas the England team would be looking forward to level the series. Kohli would be in a selection dilemma again, while on the other hand, the England team would be looking to solve the Kuldeep Yadav mystery.
