That's hundred up for Joe Root. What a fine knock this has been by the England captain. This is his 20th century in Tests. This is is third hundred in a row. Meanwhile, his partnership with Dominic Sibley is now worth 164 runs.

Joe Root has completed his half-century as well. Good going this for the visitors, the current partnership is nearing the hundred-run mark as well. India looking for a breakthrough here.

Tea Break | Dominic Sibley has completed his half-century while Joe Root needs five more runs to reach the landmark. Meanwhile, the partnership between these two is worth 77 off 193 balls. 

The partnership between Dominic Sibley and Joe Root is now worth 41 runs. These two have done well to put England back on track. Meanwhile, Sibley is nearing towards his half-century.

Good start this for England. Openers Dominic Sibley and Rory Burns stand has now gone past the half-century stand. Three boundaries for Sibley while one for Burns.

Three bowlers used thus far by Virat Kohli. Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravi Ashwin. So far, England opening pair has responded well and have made good use of the batting conditions.

After seven overs, Virat Kohli introduces spin in the form of Ravi Ashwin. Meanwhile, India's search for the first wicket continues. This has been a good start by Dominic Sibley and Rory Burns.

Not much movement for Indian opening bowling pair of Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah. It is a watchful start for Rory Burns and Dominic Sibley. There was a tough chance for Rishabh Pant to take the catch, but the ball hit his fingertips as he divided to his right.
