What a day it has been in the India vs Bangladesh 1st Test with a total of 17 wickets falling, the most in a day at the MA Chidambaram Stadium so far. India are 308 runs ahead and are in a commanding position, especially after a superlative partnership between Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja which was followed by a sensational show with the ball as India bowled Bangladesh out for just 149 runs. Bangladesh managed to take three wickets, the last of which was Virat Kohli who would rue that fact that he did not opt for a DRS after being trapped LBW by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant are at the crease and it will be interesting to see how India go about this innings on Day 3.

Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side will look to take early wickets as the IND vs BAN Test progresses to day 2.
