Mahmudullah’s young side – devoid of their two most experienced players in Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal – shocked India in the capital with a seven-wicket victory in the first T20I game. Rohit’s raging innings of 85 runs, which comprised of six fours and as many sixes, blew the Bangladeshi bowlers out of competition and restored normality once again for India.
