Umesh Yadav's five-fer completed the formalities in the third day of India vs Bangladesh Pink-Ball Test to give India their first victory in a day-night Test. Needing only four wickets on the third day, the right-arm pacers didn’t take much long in warping up the Bangla Tigers and India won the match by an inning and 46 runs, and subsequently win the series 2-0. India also won the first Test by an innings and 130 runs, and have clinched the two-match series 2-0. Virat Kohli and Co have clean swept their third consecutive Test series. With this victory, they have added 60 more points in their ICC World Test Championship tally and are placed at the pinnacle of the standings with 360 points. Virat Kohli and men’s next assignment will get underway when they will lock horns with West Indies in three T20Is and as many ODIs. While Bangladesh will eye to rectify their mistakes in order to put up a better performance in their upcoming assignments.
