This will be a two-match Test series and the first match is being played at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.  Meanwhile, Mominul Haque captain of Bangladesh Team has won the toss and elected to bat first. The Indian team has continued to maintain its dominance in ICC World Test Championship 2019-21 as they are currently at the top of the point table with 240 points. The Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli, while Bangladesh will play under the captaincy of Mominul Haque. India Vs Bangladesh, Cricket Score 1st Test Match.

The first Test at Indore was played in the year 2016 where Virat Kohli scored a double century while Ravichandran Ashwin took a total of 13 wickets from both innings. India defeated New Zealand in that game by four wickets. The pitch at Holkar Stadium is expected to provide assistance to pacers, however, batsman also has something for them on this pitch.

Playing XI of Both Teams

India Playing XI: Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli(c), Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma

Bangladesh Playing XI: Imrul Kayes, Shadman Islam, Mohammad Mithun, Mominul Haque(c), Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Liton Das(w), Mehedy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Abu Jayed, Ebadat Hossain

Ishant Sharma is back in the team after missing 3rd Test against South Africa, he replaces Shahbaz Nadeem. Virat Kohli said that he is happy to bowl first as he ideally would have opted to do that if he had won the toss. However, in the end, we can say both teams are happy after the toss as they got what they wished for. Ajinkya Rahane the vice-captain of Indian Cricket Team is just 25 runs away to complete 4000 runs in Test Cricket. Bangladesh will be playing without Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal, as the former has been suspended by ICC for two years on grounds of breaching Anti-Corruption Code, while the latter is injured. Bangladesh has nothing to lose and not much is expected from them, this should provide them with the help to play without pressure.
