Mayank mayhem dominated the second day of the 1st India vs Bangladesh as the hosts have mustered 493/7 at stumps. Umesh Yadav (25) and Ravindra Jadeja (60) are the two batsmen on the crease and will look to extend this mammoth lead even further. Mayank, who scored his second Test double-ton in the clash, broke a  flurry of records during the course of his sensational knock. Playing his ninth Test, the 28-year old became the second-fastest to reach two double centuries. In fact, he did a Virender Sehwag by going to the landmark with a gigantic six. In the first innings of the match, Bangladesh were bundled out for 150 runs after opting to bat first. In reply, India have gained a 300-run lead and their victory is set on the cards. The third day of the match could well prove to be decisive as India will look to declare after crossing to 500 or 550 run mark and eventually clinch an innings victory. On the other hand, Bangladesh’s only hope is to come good with the bat to make any sort of bounce back in the encounter.
