The Indian team is all set to travel Australia next for a full-fledged series, in a week’s time. India is scheduled to play a 3-match T20I series, a 4-match Test series, and a 3-match ODI series, starting November 21. It will be an entertaining time for the fans, given how intensifying the rivalry between the two has brewed, over the years!

The last time the Indian team toured Australia for One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20I series, the series’ scoreline read 4-1 in Australia’s favour, and 3-0 in India’s favour. The series had its bittersweet moments, and the scoreline isn’t able to justify the amount of competition that went into it. No Beef for Indian Team Menu on 2018–19 Australia Tour? Like every India-Australia series, the current tour Down Under has already seen a fair bit of controversies. There was a massive furore of the non-selection of MS Dhoni in India’s T20I squad for Australia (and West Indies too). With all said and done, it will be intriguing to see how India copes up with MS Dhoni’s absence behind the stumps.

Australia is likely to play without David Warner and Steve Smith in the upcoming T20I series. Without them, the task to win in Australia would be comparatively more comfortable for the Indian team. With the duo lingering in suspension still, India would be looking to repeat their performances from the last tour.

With the heat between the two escalating with every passing series, it will be exciting times for the fans to see another chapter being added to their long-standing rivalry over the years. The outcome of the T20I matches will also set the tone for the upcoming Test and ODI series.

The first match between India and Australia will be played at The Gabba, in Brisbane on November 21! Stay tuned with LatestLY for all the latest updates about India vs Australia Series 2018-19!
