The Indian team lost the first T20I against Australia in Vishakhapatnam by three wickets. The nail-biting game was quite a low scoring one and the Indians had quite a disappointing day at the office. Ahead of the game, the pitch curator of the Chinnaswamy Stadium said that the wicket will have plenty runs. “The surface may not be as high scoring as an IPL game but will have plenty of runs. We are using a wicket which has not been used for more than two months, it was last used in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Around 180 should be a par score on this surface,” said an official to agencies. The last T20I match that was played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in February 2017 where India had defeated England by 75 runs after setting a target of 203 runs.
