Opening batsman Rohit Sharma who was expected to show some fireworks at the Gabba, Brisbane, made way to the pavilion quite early. He got out on the score of seven from eight deliveries, hitting no fours or maximums. However, his counterpart did really well by scoring 76 runs from 42 balls lacing 10 fours and a couple of sixes. But sadly, this did not help the Indian team and hosts walked away with the last laugh as they won the game by four runs.
