Team India is on the verge of scripting history if they manage to win the last and final Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground which starts tomorrow. As of now, the visitors lead the series by 2-1 after Virat Kohli and men won the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by 136 runs and already broke several records with the victory. Ahead of the much-anticipated game, the BCCI declared 13-member squad for the upcoming game. However, the threat still looms over Ravichandran Ashwin’s availability. India vs Australia: Ravichandran Ashwin Undergoes Solo Practice Session Ahead of Final Test.

The official account of the BCCI read, “India name 13-man squad for SCG Test: Virat Kohli (C), A Rahane (VC), KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, C Pujara, H Vihari, R Pant, R Jadeja, K Yadav, R Ashwin, M Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav. A decision on R Ashwin's availability will be taken on the morning of the Test #AUSvIND.”

Both teams are geared up for the upcoming game as the series is at a very interesting juncture right now. Talking about the last match, Jasprit Bumrah was the hero of the game as he snapped six wickets in the first innings and three in the second. He also walked away with the Man of the Match award. After winning the match Virat Kohli said, “We are not going to stop here. This has given us more confidence to play more positive cricket in Sydney. We've done well in all three departments, which is why we've retained the trophy. But we want to continue. This is how we played in South Africa too, and we're not ready for the final game.”
