PAK U19 Win By 43 Runs | India vs Pakistan Highlights of ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024: Shahzaib Khan, Ali Raza Star as Saad Baig and Co Start Campaign With Massive Victory Over Archrivals

Pakistan have beaten India in this ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup contest by 43 runs! The high-octane sees Mohamed Amaan and his men come up short as they failed to chase down a 282-run target in this match. Batting first, Pakistan finished with 281/7 which was largely possible due to Shahzaib Khan's 159 off 147 deliveries. His opening partner Usman Khan also scored 60 runs. For India, Samarth Nagaraj took three wickets while Ayush Mhatre scalped two. Yudhajit Guha and Kiran Chormale took one each. In response, India U19 cricket team's batting did not pose to be good enough a challenge. India lost wickets at regular intervals and at no point did it look like chasing this total down. Nikhil Kumar was India's best performer with the bat, scoring 67 runs off 77 deliveries and Mohamed Enaan and Yudhajit Guha provided some entertainment down the order with some good shots. For Pakistan, Ali Raza was the best bowler as he picked up three wickets while Abdul Subhan and Faham-ul-Haq scalped two each. Usman Khan and Naveed Ahmed Khan took one wicket apiece.

The partnership between Nikhil Kumar and Kiran Chormale has gained stability and it seems that they are slowly growing into this game. Pakistan need to break this partnership to bounce back in the match. 

Nikhil Kumar is been leading the charge for India in the middle with some delightful shots and he will be key if they are to chase this total down. Pakistan are still in control though and this game is turning out to be a fascinating one.

At one point, the Pakistan side was looking to cross the 320-run mark with Shahzaib Khan batting aggressively. But Samarth Nagaraj's three wickets halted Pakistan's flow. Shahzaib Khan put up a masterclass performance, scoring 159 runs for his side in 147 balls.

Samarth Nagaraj picks up wickets on back-to-back deliveries, with wicket-keeper Harvansh Singh Pangalia taking catches. Pakistan was looking to go big but after two quick wickets, India can hope to restrict the opposition below 300.
