Bangladesh have beaten India by 59 runs to win the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024! What a stellar effort it has been from Bangladesh, especially the bowlers who have done extremely well to defend a paltry total of 198. Iqbal Hossain Emon, Al Fahad and Maruf Mridha along with captain Azizul Hakim Tamim were exceptional as they did not allow India to gain any sort of momentum. Bangladesh have won the Men's U19 Asia Cup title for the second consecutive time and India would rue the fact that they batted poorly to end up on the losing side. After the fall of Andre Siddarth C, both Indian batters Mohamed Amaan and KP Karthikeya have consolidated the innings for India Under-19, who were in a bit of trouble. The Bangladesh Under-19 bowlers have bowled tighter lines and ensured that India does not get off to a flyer.

Ayush Mhatre departed early, in the second over putting the India U19 side under some pressure. But Siddharth C came on the field and played some powerful drives taking over Bangladesh's bowling attack. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is playing steady innings and is happy to give the strike to Siddhth C.  

India's in-form opening pair Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi to start the run chase. Both batters have scored half-centuries in the tournament and will be confident going on to the field. with a modest total to chase, the India U19 side shall not feel the pressure unless the word 'Final' adds any burden on the young shoulders. 

OUT! Yudhajit Guha gets the final Bangladesh U19 wicket, as they bundle out for 198. The final few wickets ensured that Bangladesh Under-19 reached a respectable total. OUT! Just when Bangladesh U19 looked to take the match under their control, Ayush Mhatre provided India Under-19 a crucial breakthrough by getting rid of well-set Mohammad Shihab James. Keeping the opposition under 4 runs per over and with three top-order batters already back in the pavilion, the India U19 side will be happy with the proceedings. Three bowlers picked up a wicket each while putting breaks on the opposition batters' aggressive stroke-play. Bangladesh will look to accelerate the scoring now.
