The BCCI has declared the ODI team for India vs West Indies, 2018. The squad has been selected for the first two matches. Rishabh Pant will make an ODI debut in the place of the experienced Dinesh Karthik. Which means the selectors are surely impressed with Pant’s performance in England and decided to give him the chance. MS Dhoni will remain the wicket-keeper for India. Whereas, pacers Jaspirt Bumrah and Bhuveshwar Kumar have been rested for the series. After being dropped from the Test squad of India vs West Indies, Rohit Sharma make a comeback into the team. Shikhar Dhawan, who went on to be the highest scorer at the Asia Cup 2018, too was dropped from the Test squad against West Indies. However, Dhawan made way into the ODI team. So once again the world will get to watch the opening pair Sharma and Dhawan blazing guns for India.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav who had got injured in UAE during the Asia Cup 2018, have not been included in the squad. Khaleel Ahmed and Shardul Thakur will also be tested in the Indian conditions.
