The Indian women's national cricket team is all set to fight for a place in another Women's Asia Cup final as they take on Bangladesh in the semis on July 26. The Indian girls have been brilliant in the tournament so far and they will look forward to continuing their unbeaten run. Harmanpreet Kaur and Co defeated Pakistan, UAE and Nepal single-handedly, which have made them favourites to win against Bangladesh as well. Indian players have performed to their fullest in every department and stars such as Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh have been the top performers in the tournament so far. ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Bangladesh Cruise Against Malaysia, Win by 114 Runs.

The Indian women's team management made a few changes in the clash against Nepal and rested skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar. S Sajana and Arundhati Reddy were given chances to perform and prove their mettle. However, the Indian women's team may shift back to their strongest XI against Bangladesh. ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Chamari Athapaththu, Vishmi Gunaratne’s Standout Performances Help Sri Lanka Beat Thailand.

Shafali Verma has been at her best in the opening position and she is unlikely to get replaced against Bangladesh. Dayalan Hemalatha came in place of Smriti Mandhana to open with Verma against Nepal and scored 47 runs from 42 balls. However, Mandhana has also not done anything wrong with the order and she may return to her position. Dayalan Hemalatha may also return to number three as S Sajana didn't do well against Nepal at the same position. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will play at four as she will make a return to the side. Jemimah Rodrigues is also very likely to retain her position at five, whereas Richa Ghosh is as good as at number six.

Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar may play at number seven and eight, who are also the two all-rounders playing in the XI. Radha Yadav and Renuka Singh Thakur have also showcased brilliant performances with the ball so far and have been the backbone of the Indian bowling lineup. The management may have to choose between Arundhati Reddy and Tanuja Kanwer. Reddy made a comeback against Nepal and picked up two wickets with the ball. Kanwer, who was included in place of injured Shreyanka Patil has only picked one wicket from two games due to which Reddy is likely to get a chance.
