India have been the most dominant outfit in this tournament so far and deservedly find themselves in the final. The Men in Blue were handed a reality shock when their famed top-order was blown away by Pakistan in their first match. Since then, the batting has considerably improved with the exception being the match against Sri Lanka. Bangladesh on the other hand, have struggled with the bat, with both their defeats in the Super Four stage coming due to batting failures.  India vs Bangladesh Asia Cup 2023 Super Four Colombo Weather Report: Check Out Rain Forecast and Pitch Report at R Premadasa Stadium.

Openers, Top-Order:

The opening combination is unlikely to be tampered with, with Shubman Gill starting off proceedings with captain Rohit Sharma. Both batters have shown good form this competition and would like to gear up for the final. Virat Kohli, who had an off day after that century against Pakistan, will also like to get back into the groove with a solid performance in this contest. KL Rahul will come in at four. The team management can have Shreyas Iyer return at four in case he is available while Tilak Varma can also be given a look-in.

Middle-Order: Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel would comprise the middle and lower-middle-order in this match. The

Kishan and Rahul were once again amongst the runs in the low-scoring match against Sri Lanka and the team management will look to have them continue in the same way. If both Rahul and Kishan play, the former would don the gloves, as has been happening so far.

Bowlers: India will, in all likelihood, will prefer a spin-heavy attack once again. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will shoulder the burden of fast bowling and the management can rest either one of these two to have Mohammed Shami back in the XI.
