India Women's National Cricket team continued their dominating performance in the Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 as they demolished Bangladesh Women by ten wickets in the semifinal to enter the summit clash. India are still unbeaten in the competition and yet to even break a sweat as they juggernauted their way into the final. It was another of their clinical performance where they displayed a resolute bowling performance led by Renuka Singh (3/10) and Radha Yadav (3/14)  who scalped three wickets each and helped India restrict Bangladesh to only 80/8 after they decided to bat first. Chasing it, Indian openers were explosive again as they raced to the target in just 11 overs. Pooja Vastrakar Becomes Highest Wicket-Taker Among Indian Pacers in Women’s T20Is, Achieves Feat During IND-W vs BAN-W Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024 Semifinal.

Renuka Singh was not at her best with the new ball in the group stages. In the match against Pakistan, she actually scalped wickets after returning to attack with the old ball. This time, she was the one to draw first blood as she struck the Bangladesh top order thrice removing Dilara Akter, Murshida Khatun and Ishma Tanjim. Bangladesh were down to 21/3 in no time as they looked to rebuild, they were 33/5. It was Nigar Sultana and Shorna Akhter, who put a short partnership and despite the late three-wicket haul from Radha Yadav, helped Bangladesh reach a more respectful 80/8. Chasing it, India never looked out of comfort. Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma, as they are doing it for a long time now, started the game on frontfoot looking for boundaries. They reached 45 runs in just 5 overs and broke the back of any chance Bangladesh had to even take the game close. Through the Women's Asia Cup T20 2024, it has seemed like a bowling pitch when India bowled but later it could be seen that it was good batting pitch all along and it was just their bowling which was too good. Shafali (26*) and Smriti (55*) stayed unbeaten in the end with Smriti scoring a half-century and they helped India chase the target down in just 11 overs.
