Mumbai, June 15: India defeated Afghanistan comprehensively in the one-off Test match that took place in Bengaluru, which ended on June 15. The difference between the two sides was so much huge that the victory margin ended up in being India’s biggest win in Test Cricket history. With this win against Afghanistan, India also went past their previous record set against Bangladesh, way back, in the year 2007!

The Indian bowlers were impressive as they bowled out the Afghan team twice on a single day. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Umesh Yadav were the pick of the bowlers as they ensured that India emerged victorious in little less than two days. The Afghanistan batsman, barring Captain Asghar Stanzikzai, Hashmatullah Shahidi, and Mohammad Nabi, could not stay much on the crease and were sent to pavilion without giving much trouble to the scoreboard.
