Batting first, India scored 106 runs. India lost three quick wickets and were reeling at 8-3 at one moment. Later, India captain Dhruv Jurel scored 33 to build the Indian innings. Karan Lal also contributed with the bat with 37-run-knock. Bangladesh’s bowlers Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Shamim Hossain took 3 wickets each.
Bangladesh suffered even worse batting collapse while chasing and lost their top four batsmen for just 16 runs. However, Akbar Ali (23) and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury (21) held their wicket and took Bangladesh near to the victory. At one moment, it looked like Bangladesh will win the match but Atharva Ankolekar shattered all the hopes of Bangladesh cricket team.
