In exciting news for cricketing fans, the soon-to-commence Hong Kong Sixes Tournament, organisers have announced the participation of India in the upcoming 2024 edition. Indian cricket team will be amongst the 12 members, who will play in China between November 1 and 3, to come out on top, in what is one of the most exhilarating competitions. The Hong Kong Sixes competition is making a comeback after a seven-year hiatus, having been a constant affair between 1992 and 2017. The 12-nation tournament will feature six players on each side, consist of five overs, and will be played in a round-robin and knockout format.

India have managed to claim the title just once in 2005 and finished as runners-up in the 1996 edition. England and South Africa are the two most successful sides in Hong Kong Sixes, having won five trophies respectively while Pakistan have won four.
